gridComm's PLC Street Light Digital Power Supply is a state-of-the-art power supply (DPS) with embedded GC8800 PLC modules and metering capabilities. The GC8800 is a gridComm-based GC2200 modem and is a new generation of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) chips from gridComm. PLC digital power supply cooperates with GC9300 street lamp main control concentrator and street lamp management software to transform traditional street lamps into energy-saving and remotely managed monitoring network intelligent street lamp systems, which can be turned on or off manually or automatically, or dimmed according to demand. Allows the user to provide an appropriate level of lighting based on the schedule scheduled for the time of day, season, weather conditions, or for emergencies. In addition, the intelligent street lamp system can also easily display important information of street lamps, such as operating status (on, off, dimming level, fault alarm), power consumption (such as KWh, voltage and current), power factor and The location on the GPS map. PLC street light digital power can support LED lights, high pressure sodium lamps and metal halide lamps.
