The GC2200 is a next-generation OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) power line communication transceiver for networked data transmission.
A complete packet modem with a simple physical layer communication protocol is built into the GC2200. It integrates with a microcontroller (MCU) to provide a cost-effective communication solution for data links and point-to-point, star or AD HOC (peer-to-peer) networks. It also interfaces with a 10 MHz serial peripheral interface (SPI) to block request output. Specialized microcontrollers and software for the most cost-effective and versatile OFDMA PLC products.
Features
Features
New generation OFDMA transceivers have a maximum data rate of 175KBPS
54 carriers are divided into 18 independent OFDM channels, allowing frequency division
BPSK/QPSK selectable modulation
5 KHZ to 500KHZ carrier frequency
Narrowband analog and low frequency modes place channels in the CENELEC frequency range
Programmable in-use band (BIU) threshold for noise prevention
Receive a packet containing RSSI (received signal strength indication)
Minimize peak to mean ratio by changing carrier frequency
Independently programmable carrier transmission voltage (-3DB step size) and power regulation
